Confidence, Crowns & Character: Ruby Bilert Wins Ultimate Grand Supreme
When it comes to stepping outside your comfort zone, FPD students know what it means to rise to the challenge with courage and grace. One Viking, sixth grader Ruby Bilert, recently did just that—competing in the Miss Sweetheart of Georgia pageant and earning the prestigious title of Ultimate Grand Supreme!

Ruby Bilert’s journey wasn’t just about sparkles and sashes—it was about growth, confidence, and perseverance. After winning Mini Supreme last year, she returned this year with a simple but powerful goal: to see how far she could go.
I enjoy competing in local pageants. I competed in this pageant last year and won Mini Supreme, and I wanted to see if I could place higher this year.
Her determination paid off. While nerves and excitement filled the room just before the final title was announced, she stayed grounded in faith and confidence.

“I was nervous and excited. They didn’t double crown in this pageant, so when the queen was announced and it wasn't me, I knew I had placed higher and was very excited!”
Beyond the trophy, Ruby hopes her story encourages others to step out in faith and give new opportunities a try—especially those who may be uncertain or shy about competing.
Don’t worry about your competition and don’t compare yourself to others. Just be confident in your abilities and your strengths. Just do your best!

At FPD, we believe every student has God-given gifts worth celebrating. Whether it’s on stage, on the field, or in the classroom, our students are learning to pursue excellence with humility, courage, and purpose. Congratulations, Ruby! Viking Nation is so proud of you!
